View Full Version : *Just a Little Gathering of Macadonians*
Heh, I thought this was cool, so I took the pic. of it while in battle. What you guys think? Would you rather be on their side, or infront of them all, lol!

I'd love to be facing them... With 20 units of onagers. Barbecued Macedonians! ~;)
Bh
Yea, the Ongars are good, having just two units of them is a real bugger in MP, get lots of them taking you on, its hardcore!
But at about that time in the battle, there was like, 7 enemies left in the front of that line of troops, so it was pretty kick --- (personally edited.. for the kids lol). Post some of your armies screen shots fella's, lets see what you got! (in battle that is, not linned up in pre-battle formations of course, that doesant show the military in action),

Macedonians!!!! I guess I could live with them........ but if they were Spartans it would be a hard decision. Being in front of them or with them is both a terrifying thought!!!!!!!!! ~
Do'nt worry though eventually the totalwar series will leave this time period but until then those Spartans love you too ~:grouphug:
Luckly in my Macadonian Campaign I already control Sparta, so their not an issue! I've converted them all to, straight fella's. ~
And I've built my Empire, in three hours, through extensive bribbing, to larger than my Spartan Campaign! lol! Three HOURS! Other is like Three full days!
And Oaty, you know you want you some Spartan manship. ~D Some good lovin from their warm... eherm... hearts I guess would be a better word there.... for the kids you know... little buggers.

dont they have pikes??
So, where's waldo?
Isn't it Walley in the UK?
*Ringo*
They all are pike's, but I had to switch them off of Phalanx formation to run into the city quickly, and then switched it back on as the spearhead of the column hit the town square, your only seeing a fraction of the army as a whole in that picture.
I had switched them back to phallanx when they hit the square, to fight the enemy calvery & some foot soliders. But strangly in the main crowd of the troops, only a few had their pikes up as you can see, but had they all been up, you'd just be seeing a big wall of pikes lol, only would be able to notice about 1/4 of the whole troops in that picture itself.

Yes it's Wally in the UK. But if I said "So where's Wally?" Americans would give me weird looks. And I'd imagine most (all?) brits know he's called Waldo in the US. :book:

Ahh, thousands of Macedonians just waiting to crash your comp.
Most of them have lost their spears.
I also got a gathering! There were about 6-7 units of cavalry lancers in the city.

Oh well, the end of the gathering, dude. Note that flying guy ~;) probably by a charging cavalry unit from behind.

Unrelated picture I took, thought they are a little funny. ~D

Funny how those Barbarrians still fight when all is noticably lost, but if they didnt, they'd just be killed anyways, so oh well!
And when you said Walley, I knew you meant Waldo ;)

Ah! But when the good Lord said Waldo did you think he meant Walley? Enquiring minds want to know!
As for Barbarians i'd probably fight if someone *WAS* going to kill me! :help:
*Ringo*
Maltz, think you used enough mercenaries there, Butch?
And Ringo, at least he didn't ask where Willie was...

I use more mercs when my supply lines are long or right after a big battle... They are cheap when you own the east and Africa all the way to Greece...
