I might start playing WoW sometime in the future, never EQ2 - I've seen EQ1, and I hear that EQ2 isn't all that different from the original besides amazing graphics. Up until now Blizzard has had a great reign in teh online community with prettymuch any of their titles that they've released to be played on Battle.net - MMORPG is just the next step I guess.
I didnt like EQ either, sure aint going for EQ2. Most ppls i spoken to didnt like it for some reasons.

for those waiting in line to play WoW (http://www.leagueofpirates.com/sirvival/queuedance.html)
Not sure how ppls gonna stick with that craps, need to buy [crap] load of gamecard to play every two months. That is just crazy. Alot of ppls dont like using there credit cards to activate WoW accounts, esp the kids underage asking mommy and daddy for it.
Worst part is over Euro and England, they cant get it either for awhile. On Blizzard's Forums ppls are whinning and complaining ever since it came out.
Most of them hated Americas becuz of it.

This is really bad... Blizz sure made one hellva mess out there. Some ppls just cant get a hold of themselves. Poor weakly humans!
Been checking around and searching for clues and realise that link above isnt real, just a joke. I got this infos from Blizz Bnet's Forum.

lol Blind fans of blizzard dont realise that though they might have the RTS crowd comfortably conered, its tough to break into a new genere and establish a solid base. WoW so far should really get a lot of its issues sorted out before it goes out on shelves. And as for people who dont like everquest but are getting WoW, it really isnt too much different, except a new setting, and some different features, but majority is the same
Hmm im hoping TES:IV Oblivion does comes out MMORPG it would burns WoW, EQ2, Shadowbane and others.
Been waiting for TES make a nice MMORPG, didnt like Spires before Morrowind came out. TES:IV is worth paying monthly fees if its less than 15. Wait and see.

Well, Gamespot gave an incredibly enthusiastic Review (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/worldofwarcraft/review.html?q=1&tag=gs_hp_flashtop_story) . They gave it a 9.5 - which for Gamespot is tremendous.
snippet:
Though massively multiplayer online role-playing games have been around for years, it has taken this long for the genre's breakthrough hit to finally emerge. Here is the online role-playing game you should play, no matter who you are. This is because World of Warcraft brings out all the best aspects of this style of gaming, if not many of the best aspects of gaming in general. It also features many of the specific characteristics that have made Blizzard Entertainment's previous games so entertaining, memorable, long-lasting, and successful. Of course, the company's past track record did not guarantee that World of Warcraft could have turned out this well. Such high quality simply cannot be expected, nor should it be missed.
I was curious as to what the general gaming community thought of it. Gamespot has a community rating system setup and I compared WoW with their rival, EQ2.
World of Warcraft: 2,784 ratings | 56 reviews = 9.1
Everquest 2: 849 ratings | 46 reviews = 6.9
Gamespot gave EQ2 a 7.8
After quickly skimming through a few WoW fansites it seems that besides a few glitches dealing with overloading servers, the game was launched pretty smoothly. Half Life 2 had way more problems, though I didn't encounter any of them, many people did have problems - and even now there's complaining on the HL2 forums. I think it's pretty safe to say that both games had big shoes to fill; it seems that Blizzard has made another gem.
Gonna be slow for now since they have to backordered alot of gamecards to keep up with the paste.
PayPal still not ready yet, cant believe i havent gotten a word from them since i email them three times last Thanksgiving.
For standard issues wonder how long does ppls play it, like 3 months or more. When i play Neverwinternights, i take a break once a month sometime more. So i figured ppls would do the samn on WoW. And I dont think the world maps is very big, after viewing pages 150-154 for all regions and looks pretty big but didnt have a scale at the time.
Loves playing Morrowind and yes was annoying for awhile becuz can get bored and lonely due to stupid npcs and without multiplayers.
I was thinking making a undead character and roam around underwater alot lol in WoW, samnthing i did in MW. Undeads can breath underwater 4x longer than others plus making/buying water breathing potions. Plus they can consume corspes and heal themselves 200% by eating them or whatever, Oh that sound interesting.
Have no clues what can lurk underwaters but i bet there alot of booty down there, saw one screenshot, a shipwreck.
Well looking forward to play it someday, when i get that gamecard by mail. I dont like in a big city tho, just a small town in the middle of no where in Texas.

When is World of Warcraft out in the UK? I always thought that Blizzard aimed for worldwide releases, yet it hasn't hit the shelves.
is there any talk on when it will be out over here?
