Hi Vercingetorix,

First of all I'm amazed with what the others have been able to do with your wonderful application and I've been terribly impatient to try my hand at it. So I finally cleared enough space to install old 3D Studio Max 3.1 and I installed the NVDIA DDS plugin and then the CAS script. Problem is when I tried running the CAS script it kept on giving me errors like synatx error end expected. I noticed they were at points where there was a comment, the hyperlinks part and the part w/c has the default RTW directory. I ran the RUN SCRIPT from the dropdown SCRIPTS on the bar on top. The program still won't recognize the CAS format.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks!
Tom (Clare)

There should appear 'import cas' , 'export cas' options in the scripts menu. Use those instead of file menu.
You might need to scroll the menu down to see them, I had to.

Does it even work on version 3.1? I thought it worked on version 5 (maybe 4) and above. There may be a different scriptcode language in 3.1 which if so will obviously have problems with later version scripts.

Yep I think youll find 5 is the minimum.

Great that really sucks! Just when I finished my first new skins too. How about 3DSMAX 4? I may be able to buy a secondhand copy I don't know.

I have 4.1 and it's working _mostly_. Sometimes it says there are some things it can't do, though.
