well, I have Windows in french, so I'll try to translate properly...
Open the start menu
Open the configuration panel
Open the keyboard setting
choose the 2nd sheet, "language"
There you should have the choice. I didn't go further as I am very happy with my french keyboard configuration, but I guess next step would be Windows CD...
ok i can use some of the french characters now, not all of them though, and i can't use the comma in the french setting, plus ill need to learn the layout it is significantly different.
thanks,
dessa

Because french is a superior diplomatic language and neither german nor english can compete with it!
I hereby decree that we all speak french from now on in the tavern!

It really strengthens the intelligence and sense of logic to learn and study languages, Im glad I have the opportunity to learn about three different languages ~:)
actually i prefer to speak to people in french sometimes, it is so much more eloquent then english, plus i hate the english speaking world saying english is the world language, and acting like its the only important language in the world, and that everyone should speak it.
this is regardless of the fact that the majority of people in the world do not speak english.
thanks,
dessa

There are more students of English in China then there are people in the United States.
there is only a couple of hundred million in the USA.
there may be 1.3/1.5 billion people speaking english in the world, now there is 7 billion people in the world, bit shy of a majority.

Maybe one day everybody will speak English as their first language. It is the lingua franca of the world in the same way French used to be the lingua franca of European society until the end of the nineteenth century, particularly of the aristocratic elite in politics, diplomacy and the arts. Tough on the French, they should have conquered the American colonies and things would look better for them. I bet our American friends would have banned British fries by now... Allons enfants... Good luck with your studies, Dessa14.

Sorry I'm taking German.
Next Semmester I'm going to rally my German 2 class and invade the French class!
Seig Capo!
Lol, sorry I had to.
adrian it's a thought i personally dread, the whole world speaking english!, but that won't happen, because the commonwealth will always speak proper english and the americans will always speak their dumbed down version of english.
for gods sake who takes the u out of all those words and swaps the r's and e's around.
thanks,
