View Full Version : One more noob question
What is the purpose of seeing your city in 3 d? When you click on that icon on the left of the city resources you go into a city 3d mode view. :balloon2:
Hi djsway ~
Welcome to the org. I know some members like to zoom into their city in order to view it's splendour. It may be useful to view your city close up in order to plan what defensive troops you need in case of a siege. Personally I don't zoom in any longer as it takes too long to load the required screen.

when EA reverse-engineered Civilization 3 in order to make the campaign section of RTW, they decided to keep the part where a player can view his city, but just jazzed it up a bit. ~;)

lol. best change that. EA is the capitalist pig of the Gaming industry. CA made this game.

Gotta agree, EA is the Macs of computer gaming, they're everywhere.
I have always found cool seeing Rome and going to the Colosseum, and then zoom in. You can see the building as a gladiator can. Having gladiatorial fights would be great, a little nice surprise. :duel:
If you have no cities with a Colosseum, you can still see it in a custom battle.
