Write to the web admin and tell them that you demand that they support a "secure and reliable browser"...

Yeah I downloaded Mozilla 1.7.3 a few months back and it is vastly superior to the virus-targeted, bug-ridden monstrosity that is IE.

And it also has tabbed browsing and a half decent popup blocker!

yeah tabbed browsing is a great idea, but in the next patch they should make links open in tabs by default, instead of in new windows.
thanks,
dessa

I knew there was a catch.

I use Firefox, and I'm thinking of switching from Outlook Express to Mozilla's product. Outlook is getting slow, due probably to spy/adware, viruses.

Good, Gawain, you have seen the light.

Seriously, though, Firefox is awesome. It kicks IE's... *tries to think of appropriate computer equivilant for...* @$$.

"Twice as many posts?"

*Emperor Palpatine voice* "This Firefox could be a powerful ally..."

You can download a tabbed browsing plugin for Firefox and Mozilla that gives you increased options.

As I understand it that is possibly one of the options you can set.

of course you can already manually select to open any link in a new tab by right-clicking and selecting it from that menu.

if you got to settings and advanced there should be, a little down on the list something called windowbased browsing, where you can set it to open in the same window in a new tab, as default
