Anybody out there seen this movie yet, A Very Long Engagement (http://wwws.warnerbros.fr/movies/unlongdimanche) ? I have heard it is supposed to be very interesting. I enjoy Audrey Tautou and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. It is supposed to have amazing scenes of the trenches in WWI and have a good love story to boot, that will get my wife in the theater.

Never heard of it, but I have always been fascinated by the trenchwarfare of the first world-war. The only decent movie I know is 'All quiet at the western front' (great book as well). The love angle kind of bugs me (though/tho/what is the correct spelling????), when they want to please the females you know there is trouble ahead because women are insane by definition.

I read an article about that one a couple of weeks ago in a German news magazine.
Seems to be a very interesting movie...

It's been a full success here. Everything that makes a good movie, romance, action, good sentiments, & so on.

Though I had heard the version broadcasted in the USofA was the french one, with "undertitles"(not sure of the translation, you know, the words in the spectators language that lie under the screen - damn my english is crap).
