Seriously, it's like Halo 1.5.

Not much improvement over Halo 1, you can't even sprint, duck or crawl, not enough scenery interaction, you get better graphics on P.C etc.

My Advice: Ignore Halo 2 and get half life 2 or RTW.

i'm with you. once you've played call of duty and its expansion, half life 2, deus ex (the first one), far cry, etc... i just don't see how anyone can see halo as anything but a weak, generic fps. it does absolutely nothing that hasn't already been done 239834983 times before and better on pc. BUT IT HAS ONLINE MULTIPLAYER WITH 16 PPL OMGWTFBBQ!11LOL111!111! great, pc's been doing online with far more players for years. hell, i played 32 player games of quake2 in 1998.

I liked the game, but i can understand your feeling guys, i've grown to hate it too, due the hype that surrounded it ~;p

Halo 2 is a nice game if your interested in the first game.. its certainly not the best FPS however.

I have to agree that Halo 2 isnt as great as it could of been. I think the best thing in Halo 2 (and 1) is the co-op mode which is great imo.

yeah Co-op modes are really missing in FPS games. Its a shame really. When I play someone on a LAN (with only 2 machines) I tend to have to bypass FPS games because of the boredom of just having two players running around and the inability to add AI Bots without downloading a horde of MODS...

AvP (the original) had a great skirmish mode where guys could team up against hordes of AI spawned Aliens as a predator or a Marine, it was a lot of fun seeing how long you could last. ~:)

A real shame that FPS Multiplayer remains so basic and hasn't advanced at all over the years...

It is ok I guess, how much can you add, it remains a pure shooter. Certainly not the OMGWTFBBQ B3ST G4M3 3VAR!!@! but fun nonetheless. But why they didn't include online coop is beyond me, there are just better team-deathmatch games around.
