In the living room, a good distance from the fireplace. The angel we use is just hung by a loop at the top of the tree.

Heh, on the Tavern Over-forum, this thread comes up as "Where do you stick your..."

I was getting ready for some close-age... ~D

Mine goes in the middle of the big bay windows in my living room, facing out onto the street. That way everyone can see it.

The smartest place to put any dry Christmas tree: next to the fireplace! ~

In the living room conrner opposite the tv. This year most of us are pushing to not have one though. We always buy live trees, and they are too expensive and too big a hassle to plant.

The living room.

The irony is that all year I'm killing trees, especially balsam firs which grow like weeds here. They tend to grow thin and tall quite often because they grow in clusters and they're the first ones to break in high winds and from bugs and woodpeckers. Not good to have beside the house. I fire scores of truckloads of these things through the chipper.

And then of course my sweetie goes out an buys one two weeks before Christmas. She wants a perfect, cultivated tree.

Strange life. :dizzy2:

We have a little fiber optic one. It goes on top of the phone table.

In the corner of the living room, sometimes I even remember to switch the lights on.

Where the sun doesn't shine....north facing bay window, don't want it to dry out. ~;)
