Can these people actaully play stringed instraments, or did you just make this up?

The smilies obviously can. ~;)
Actually, I didn't have "peple" in my mind building the quartet. But Frog has a big legacy as the resident geisha of the ORG. ~:)

Great Mouza. Top Job.
Now all we need to do is work out who is who...

Heheh, I ain't touching that task...well, I will go out on a limb and say that the one on the right with the poisoned bow is froggy.

Thanks.
To answer yur question; both. The 1st Violin is a well known one. I modified its facial expression to make the standalone 2nd Violin. (That happened around a jokular session at our music software newsgroup.) The geisha set is Duke John's work, you know. Finally, I came up with the quartet idea and assembled them. Had to work hard on the viola and cello and they're still imperfect. ~:P

Mouzafphaerre the cello bow is played flat and also, it's much nearer the bridge... ~D trust me I'm a crappy cellist :help: :dizzy2: It's hard work you know learning a musical instrument
good work of course ~

Constructive criticisme always rewarded accordingly. Here is a violist friend of mine who had told that the viola was playing out of tune:

Very nice ~:)
How about a piano-man smiley wearing big glasses with a pink frizzy thingie around his neck (e.g. Elton)? That would be cool.

The angry one is kewl. It reminds me of myself when I play a musical instrument.

Borrowed this one from the local police station. They said it was "up to EU standards" whatever that meant.

Sorry for bumping up a dead thread but the quartet has recently received some critic's analysis that I couldn't have passed on sharing with you:
typical viola player, wide eyed and all the right notes in the wrong
order.....
'cello completely lost in the beauty of the sound of his own instrument
second fiddle unable to concentrate because of the oversize fiddler on his
left
lead just looking up to heaven wondering when it will all be over
