View Full Version : A very basic question: How to pull multiple units out of the city at the same time?

In the MTW, one can pull out a 16 unit army by selecting all units and then move the icon out. However, I can't do that in RTW, as there isn't any 'selection grid' in the army menu. If I want an army, I've to pull the units out one by one and merge them into one army. That's quite troublesome and bad for one's arm. ~;) Is there any easier way to deal with this?

I'm sorry for asking such basic question, but I've lost my manual and I couldn't found any revelant threads with Google, so I go here as a last resort.

It really is simple, just hold down "control" and then click on each army unit that you want to move, you can select 2 or 3 or however many you want, then just move em where you want em.

Simple as that.

Ctrl-A selects them all - even simpler ~;)

and keep in mind that after you pulled them out, they will be in the order in which you klicked on them, except for the general who will always be first, i say that because it can be useful to hav you´re army in a certain order, i think it makes battles easier and you need less time to deploy and form groups.

Thanks for the help, fellow Senators. Now I shall return to my legions and civilize the Guals!

Nice tip there until now I was doing all 1 by 1 into a new stack to get them reorganized
