I'm using my Daimyo Takeda Shingen and some of his "24 GENERALS" together in 1 big army! So how should i know which 1 of them are among tha 24 generals? Knowing them by honor?battle flags?etc? If by honor, certainly I can but what if all of them are tha same honor level...umm...I dont think so. By flags, is just too complicated cause it always change everytime during every battle. Same case to units, weapons or armor.
Yeah...how should I? I dont one to lose my precious general or heir without knowing which one is his army during battle. So...how guys?Anyone? Just hope there's a solution for this... :help:
Thanx

It's very hard to keep track of which units correspond to which leader on the battlefield. I try to avoid having this be an issue.
I try not to stack generals of honor 2 or higher together. It seems wasteful to me, as 2-3 star generals increase the honor level of all troops under their command by 1 (resulting in +1 attack, +1 defense, and +2 morale for all troops in the stack), 4-5 star generals increase honor by 2 (+2 attack, +2 defense, and +4 morale), and 6-7 star generals increase honor by 3, etc. I separate them to take advantage of the bonuses as much as possible. Only the highest ranking general's bonus in any given stack is considered; the rest in that stack are ignored. If I don't absolutely need the units on the front lines, I'll keep 2+ star generals in reserve behind my front lines, to be brought in when they are needed to replace a commander killed in action or assassinated.
One exception are my heirs. I will often stack heirs under a 5-6 star general because it seems to reduce the likelihood of them being targeted by ninja or geisha. The assassins tend to target the commanding general first.
On the strategic map you can click on the little icon in the lower right with a man and boy, to learn the names. You can also see heirs marked with the family Mon (flag) on their strategic icons.
You have to remember the hiers names and unit types so you can identify them on the battlefield. Its difficult as TO has pointed out, but it can be done.
Always keep an heir or two back if you fight with your Daimyo, just in case.

Yup,good point. I think thats tha only solution for them to keep away from being killed in action during battle. Actually I just wanted this "24 generals" to be side by side with tha daimyo himself just like in tha real history of tha Takeda clan. ~:)
It just make me fascinated with Takeda Shingen's style of leadership and it enthusiates me to do it in this campaign. HAHA! I really really admired this clan so much especially with their mighty cavarly charge! Shingen rocks man!!
Anyway, thanx a lot guys, it was really helpfull of u guys. I appriciate it. ~D
Tool dude, i don't know what niveau you are playing at, but at hard or expect(which i are now discovering) you can't do much things like that. You'll have to do everything you can to get as much profit possible(you probably knew that already ~;) , but as you are a junior member(me 2) you won't be playing the game too long(me 2 again)
bye-bye BRO( ~D )
