Quick question. I know disciplined untis will respond to orders better, but will they also fight longer before they break? Thanks in advance!

No.

Disciplined units dont get the big -8 morale penalty (lasting about 20 seconds) when your general dies. So the risk of a big chain rout is not as big.

The +1 discipline from the military academy only applies to units trained in the province it's located in, right?

Don't have the manual present, but yes, I presume so.. Cannot imagine it would improve the entire nation's unit production..

And what is the scale, I mean how much improvement that +1 discipline? 10% 5% or 25%?

It moves the unit up the scale by one IIRC. Uncontrolled, normal, disciplined, (elite?). I do not know if the effect of building a disciplined troop in a town with the academy is an elite troop or not.

I haven't checked the morale effect, but take two units, one trained a turn before the academy is built and one trained after the academy is built and check the difference using f1 before a battle joins and both the same distance to any morale boosters.
