Well,

as I near my 10,000th birthday here at the Org, I am announcing my long-in-coming retirement. As many of you know, the Org has been (for awhile) drifting away from Japanese history and many of the older poster to whom I was of use and with whom I had many a discussion have already passed on.

I leave the History forum in the hands of others now. I wish them well and luck [neither of which is needed to mod the history forum ; ) ]

So, bye bye everyone. I may or may not pop in every so often.

If Any of the old timers are still around (I mean reallly old). It was a good time all and take care.

Maybe see you around some other time.
Other than that, if you ever see a Zen Blade at CivIII or Warcraft III, give me a line.

EDIT: lol, just saw my new icon. Thanks Kuma mate!

-later,

-Zen Blade

Sorry to see you go. Been seeing your name ever since I joined the Dojo. See you on I-5!

Sayonara, Zen Blade-dono! May the roads, the beds, and the women be soft in your post retirements journeys (even if you decide to take the robes of a monk).

Hey! Maybe I can take the Red Devil nickname of my namesake now! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

As one of the old timers who remembers the days when they halls were filled with scholars of Japanese history and lore who now only wanders in like a filthy ronin from time to time, I both remember your contributions and agree that the times have changed.

Hopefully, though, the same dignity (and what some might call tedious illectual pursuits) will continue here and the history section will remain a place that's easy to maintain and once again a joy to moderate.

Please stop in from time to time. The wall scrolls might be replaced by tapestries, but hopefully the spirit will remain.

Sorry to see you go Zen_Blade.

Since i could not give you a retirement watch like you wanted http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif , i did put all my energy in your second demand, glad to see you like it.

I do hope to see the old wise man pop in from time to time.

Saionara, Zen.

Now we disappear.
Well, what must we think of it?
From the sky we came,
now we may go back again.
That's at least one point of view.

One by one we all fade away...

It's been good, Zen. Make sure you drop by.

disappears like dew.
All of Naniwa
is dream after dream."
