Thanks for the help with the blockade question it really helped. Now though I have reached the gunpowder age. I am playing the Egyptians I have built a gunsmith and gunsmiths guild in one country. Also a bell foundry and cannon foundry in another. Still I am unable to build new men, is there something I need to do besides researching these buildings? :charge:

If you are past the year 1260, and have Gunsmiths Guild, you should be able to train Arquebusiers now.

And if you got Cannon Foundry you should also be able to train Demi-Cannons. If not...then do you have a MOD installed?

In plain MTW (not VI), the gunpowder units are only buildable in late (after 1320).
