ANNOUNCEMENT: Clan LORE forums shutdown.

Hi everyone...

This past half year for the Lords of RomE Clan has not been easy, we have had our troubles and have persisted.

Sadly RTW Multiplayer is and remains a big dissapointment for many. A large period of clan inactivity and withdrawing from Online play over the past several months has meant that we have since taken the decision to shutdown the clan. Some of our members have left and many of us are too busy with other things (and a lack of enthusiasm for RTW) to be able to continue.

Most of our members I am certain will remain active here at the Org, but its fair to say that RTW MP has effectively destroyed the clan and removed us from active online play as a competing clan.

We have had a great time over the past couple of years playing many of you, and being a part of the online Total War experience.

I would like to personally thank all of our members for the hard work and dedication they have shown over the life of the clan and wish them all the best for the future.
Many of you retain the MSN addresses of other Clan members and I do hope you all keep in touch, and maybe even play the odd game of TW in future.

Sorry to hear guys. I can't help but feel a bit responcible for making the past half year " uneasy", adrubtly quitting and joining Tenjo.. For that I am sorry. Hopefully the patch will come out soon, the good days will return and I will see you guys online ~:)

Don't feel too bad Scip we were able to keep going for a quite a while successfully. The real problems happened in the last three months or so with many members (myself included) being far too busy with other commitments to be able to even organise online games, and with no new posts in the clan forums for that length of time the omens were bad.

If things do turn out well with the next RTW patch I will certainly consider reopening the clan forums and pass controls over to someone else if former members PM me (or DAA) and wish to try to ressurect things.

Yes it was a great run, I am forever thankful for you guys letting me be in the clan. Its terrible news that we had to disband, but its for the best. I am with Wishazu, if you guys ever sound the horn for us to reunite, I will gladly join the ranks of LORE again. I myself have gone back to MTW, its just far superior to RTW imo. Farewell, LORE and all its amazing members. Our leaders did a great job running it, hats off to you lads. And to Quid for helping me get MTW up and running when i was a newbie, thanks m8. Its a shame we had to break up the clan but it had been on the cards for a while. All the best to you chaps in the future, and I'm sure we'll bump into each other around this place from time to time.

It was great getting to know some of you guys and I can honestly I've enjoyed every VI MP game I played ~:cheers:
