I know it's already here somewhere...I just can't find i!!

How can I change (increase/decrease) the distances moved by the stategic pieces during a turn?

I want to edit the movement points to reflect reality: specificly naval vessels transiting the med...6 months from Carthago Nova to Rome? Puh..lease!!

I also want to increase the route-march distance for the late Roman legions...

Shouldn't these distances increase/decrease due to experience (getting fitter, better trained) or decrease (Just got served their buttocks on a platter...noobs) in some form of logical progression?

Any help would be appreciated...even a relevant link'd be nice!!

Thanks in advance!

The problem with increasing units' movement too much is that you get stuff like insta-assaults of your innermost, poorly-defended settlements by an army that was deep in enemy territory last turn. It helps realism, but hurts gameplay.

Increasing movement points are what roads are for.

How about it?

Anyone?

These naval vessels should travel FURTHER than they do...
