Hey all,
I have been trying to track down some digital artwork similar to that used in the Shogun credits. Im also quite interested in seeing any traditional art/woodblock prints of Samurai stuff. Does anyone know any sites that have this kind of stuff, know any artists who it is worth looking for, or have any pictures they could post?
If you are interested in the artwork but are a beginner like myself, the most famous wood block print is 'The Great Wave' by Hokusai, which I am sure many of you will recognise... Ive so far managed to track down one Shogun picture, of a warrior monk, to the cover of the book 'Japanese Warrior Monks AD 949-1603', by Stephen Turnbull.
Many thanks,
Wilbo
