Did anyone try to play as Senate.i would really like to play as them,but it is impossible to make some money with them as thay start with one city and have about -1500d/turn?
Any help?

Well you could try disbanding your bloody enormous army, or using it to go conquer something.

I am playing the senate and have had a great time. I first kicked the Scipii out of Capua and then went about uniting all of Italia by destroying the Julii defending against the Gauls and then driving the Brutii out. I then took on Scipii Scicilia and then took the Brutii holdings in the east. I then helped Carthage fight off Spaina dn gave them the provinces I took and gave them some money for their fight against Egypt. Then I helped Greece with Macedon, then they backstabbed me and I have them reduced to their island and eastern holdings. All the while my brave roman legions have been fighting the Gauls and taking Spain for Carthage. Recently the Gauls were reduced to their Iberian holdings and my faction heir and ex-captain has begun to drive the Britons from the continent. Recently an upstart named Marius has stuck it to the senate by getting the plebians to pass a bill allowing more people into the military and supposedly "modernising" the military. Only rtime will tell if this will strengthen or weaken Rome as no troops from Arretium, Arriminium, Rome or Capua have reached the front.
