GeForce FX 5900 game crashes please help!

Please help, just installed my new GeForce FX 5900 card and when the game starts it crashes. HELP! ~:confused:

Does Dxdiag show any problems?

Have you run a standard DX9 benchmark like 3DMark2003 to verify that the card is working propery and that the roblem is limited to the game.

Did you use Detonator Destroyer to get rid of all old NV drivers before the install? You might have pieces parts of old drivers in the way.

Also, you might have to try various driver sets. The latest 6X series drivers might not be the best choice. Sometimes 5X drivers work better. I know, sounds counter-intuitive, but the 6X drivers are being tweaked primarily for the newer cards, and these have an entirely different architecture.
