My suggestion for RTR!

Im sure this has been suggested before so forgive me cause I am new to RTR, but since the other 2 roman factions where removed, perhaps 2 new ones could be added? An Indian faction or an asiatic nomad faction? In fact, if India is chosen I would even learn how to model to help with the mod. PM me if interested.

They are working on two new factions, and will probably be released around 6.0. One of the factions will be Indian, due to the map extension towards India which will come in effect i believe in 5.2

yes, i sugessted chinese, as they didn't have to worry about skins and models as c:tw has all those units, and they could prolly use em, but they say no :'(

They might release two new factions (Mauryan empire and Greco-Bactria) though if they do so, these factions will probably receive order from the senate.

Since this is supposed to be Rome Total Realism, I don't know why they would put China in their map...

I would rather see a nomadic asiatic steppe tribe which would be more realsitic for an asian invasion than the chinese ( I doubt cathay would have invaded west for any reason).

There are actually Chinese historians that have found small Roman military expiditionary outposts around the western chinese borders. The Romans often patrolled far from their borders during the height of their power, so it wouldnt be too unbelievable that they had some contact with the Far East.

Regardless, chinese interests at that time would doubtfully that them on such an excursion. Romans on the other hand...

now ancient jews I would KILL for. I always wanted to be able to use the maccabees in action! Indians and Jews for the 2 new factions and I would quit my job and lock myself in my room!

I meant asiatic as in asian decent. Slanted eyes, pale skin, etc. Not the western type Sarmatians.
