Im having a good challenge playing the Rebels. Its quite interesting and unique since everyone hates you ....Period. But I have 2 questions. The first is more important to me. And I realize that it is a faction that seems to have many bugs. Most of the other stuff I just take in stride and still manage to enjoy the uniqueness of this campaign.

1. I have noticed that Rebel Diplomats cannot negotiate. There are no options available in the scroll and only a message that asks what I want to discuss before I am crushed. Can I enable negotiations somehow?

2. Using ships to transport Rebel troops causes a CTD when they unload on to land. Can I fix this. I can live without this one but it would sure be nice to have a real live Pirate raid! Arrrrr! :)

I don't really know but I was messing around with the character files (the ones that supposedly control the characters, spies, assassins, etc.) and I fear that there are too many hardcoded things in this game. What I'm doing in my mod is adding potential pirates or independents as full factions - Barbary States and Major Independents - so that there can be 'pirate raids' and negotiating diplomats.
