How do I use cheats?

This may sound a bit noobish, but, how do I enter the cheats on the campaign map?

You can type them in right on the campaign map.

So, you just click and type?

All you have to do is type in the cheat (remember to put the periods before and after) in the campaign map. You don't need to activate any type of console or click on anything except your savegame.

If you apply a cheat e.g. "worksundays" does that effect the other empires.

why do you want to use cheats, it is much more satisfying crushing the wrold on expert with aragon without them.
