Since the Frenchies took over Arsenal, I gave up on supporting them. I hate the Frenchies more than I hate Man. U. I only pitty Bergkamp, because he is my favorite player. I hope that this result persuade Venger to leave, and he might as well take all his French ladies with him (including Henry, can he have a worse season??!). We need some pure English blood in this team!

well as much as i hate arsenal if the french foriegn legion there (namely henry and veira) i'd be quite happy for manchester united to take them of your hands....

I'll be happy as well, as that'll give me a reason to hate twice as much Man. U.

(including Henry, can he have a worse season??!)

16 goals, 10 assists in 24 starts? Where do I sign up to have such a bad season?

Perspective please...

Bellamy and Hartson should do well, and we kept Balde (for a while at least)

Until he has his latest whinge. Good work on picking up a decent play for a while for nothing though.

you won't be up the top for long, roman will get bored and take his money then you'll go and do a leeds (or at least i live in hope)

11pts clear with 13 games left does seem to much to overhaul, but as always i live in hope, though it looks like the 2nd spot (the only acceptable non winning position) is on the cards for utd.

Ah, the 'great game' of the English working man. At £30 a ticket or whatever it is now, methinks the working man has been priced out of his game and replaced by the 'prawn buffet' corporate crowd.

MTW v RTW analogy anyone?

King Edward

We dont need Roman to flash his cheque book around around for ever, just for 8-10 years or so for Kenyon to get the Infrastructure inplace for Chelsea to Become Self Sufficent.

He has already started this with our new £100 million shirt deal with Adidas, and if we can break into the States and Asian Merchandising markets which currently Man Utd and Real Madrid have a monopoly on then the cash will start to flow.

To Achive this we need success on the Pitch, hence the Crazy spending on players over the last 2 seasons, but i think now Mourinhio is now getting the right balance of playing staff in the squad and it has shown by our performance in the Premier League this season.

But, until this Master plan comes off, there is always the worry that Red Rom could pull the plug at any time, but hey thats football. You take the Highs with the Lows. Like when Chelsea were playing in the Old division 2 with the Bulldozers waiting to turn Stamford Bridge into a property development, then up Stepped good old Ken Bates who purchased the club for £1 and we havent really looked back since!! Itwill be interesting to see if he can do the same fore Leeds Utd.

LittleGrizzly

02-14-2005, 23:38
Ahh, the midlands, none of the local teams took your fancy then.

Worlds greatest football team ! they deffo dont come from Salford, I mean on European cup wins your on par with Nottingham Forest with your 2 wins.

Will you ever have 86,000+ for a home game ?

Blues or villa? Whats wrong with them ~D

Henry goals last night were amazing, especially the second. They should have got ten against poor old palace, why they brought on flamini and Fabrigas(sp) is beyond me. I can understand wanting to rest two of your best players but those two couldn't hit a cow's arse with a barn door ~

Ex Arsenal fan.
Ex Football fan.

The current bratty schoolboy squabbles that now masquerade as football games bear no comparison to the days when Liam Brady graced the field(and man utd were 2nd division ~:) ).Surely the sweetest left foot the world has ever seen, given his ability to place the ball within an atoms distance of his intent.

Note: must auction these rose tinted glasses on Ebay.
