Arcani? How Do You Recruit?

I haven't found out through any of the guides or forums about how to recruit Arcani. They look like they could be useful if strategically placed in hiding. What building(s) are required?

get a temple to jupiter and then you get them

I believe any Roman pantheon allows arcani to be raised.

Awesome temples of Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars as well as corresponding Pantheons allow for recruitment of Arcani.

You use the building browser and right click the icons to find out what troops you can build. Quite a few trrops are buildable with temples, particularly with barbarian factions. Look at the temple guide for more details.

I havent found them to be too useful but I build a few just to have em.

they are VERY useful if place properly,in defence mostly.with 3 they are enough to launch to the rear of the fighting and cause some serious casualties and that mostly for High-End troops.but i had an trap like this:
2scorpions on the far left with 1 arcani,the stupid AI sent the general hwo was slaughterd by the arcani. :charge: ~:cheers: ~:cool: ~D


In conclusion they are useful and cool loking ~:cool:
