as the title states, Im creating a rough sketch of what thermopylae will be like. It will be awesome after I remove one problem...

everything (from the start) is perfect. all I need to do is adjust the cliffs a little bit, but the MAJOR problem, is that the persians just walk OVER the cliffs and surround the spartans :embarassed:

please help me :help:

Did you use the cliff models, or just change the height of the land to make it look like cliffs? If you did, then they won't be impassable. Under landscape models there are several types of rocky outcrops and cliffs which are impassable...

can you show me a screen of where you mean? I dont know where that is.

BTW thanks for your help. people at twcenter didnt say anything.

You cant edit your post because you're a junior member.

Probably thats where I got the cliffs anyway.

There's one called big_cliff I think. That one looks ok.

it looks good if you implement it correctly, howver, I was trying to base my battle off of the one from HTW for Medieval. The big_cliff only works on flat surfaces, and when you put it on a slope, it flattens the ground automatically. I'm just wishing there will be a way to make your own custom scenery in the next patch...however, I read somewhere that 1.2 is the last patch from CA. Is this correct?

Thats what they say, but I hope not, there are still some bad bugs to fix, let alone implementing new features...

you will be able to create your own scenery if we can get the Item files to work, but no luck so far.
