possible wiped out bug?

i currently playing as scipii timeline is 14ad and captured 39 provences

the game now tells me my faction is wiped out??? and do i want to continue playing??

i got a huge family etc so wot is going on?

is there a time limit on becoming procterote or summat?

If you're playing the long campaign, you lose if you don't meet your goals by 14 AD.

well early game was very slow i have to admit. i just couldnt get the carthage provs into good order for ages =(.
knew i shoulda ignored the senate and concentrated on greece

......... looks like its restart time...sigh
