Which RTW faction do people like playing best? And why?

For me, it's Julii. There's just something iconic about Romans battling barbarians. And in red, gotta be in red.

Greek Cities!!! They may not have a very wide range of units, but they are damn good!! And the mercenaries to be found in their lands are amazingly good!! Like the cretan archers, and bastarnae mercenaries.

Greeks, i like there starting position in the game and they have the strongest phalanxes available.In 1.2 elephants get impaled easely with my armoured hoplites.They look nice also.

I have played some Julii in 1.0 and currently doing Brutii (initially just to get the Greek States). I'm enjoying it so much I'll finish this ~D . Next Greek States (finally some major phalanx action ). ~:cool: So no vote yet.

My easist campaign was with Macedon - superior family mambers, superior army when you breake 12,000 (Royal Pikemen + Macedon Cavarly, later Companion + Cretan Archers + Rhodian Slingers = dead to Greeks, Thrace, Romans and Egypt ~:) ).

Carthage is the best, I'll tell you. In old vanilla they have a hard time and they are way underrated. But, oh sweet Baal, how do the carthaginians kick ass in RTR. You just have to love them...
