Has any one been able to change the size of the map in the battle editor? So far i have placed a large Gaul City flanked by a German encampment on the right side and a Spanish encampment on the other. After placing all three armies for battle i have little room for the Roman encampments and there combined armies!!
So does any one know how to make the map bigger so you can place your units any where you like?? :help:

I could only find how to place forts with the editor. How are cities placed?

This is the wrong place to post this topic but anyway.
To enable the battle editor right click on the rome totalwar icon and click properties. In the box that says target at the end outside of the quotes with one space type enable_editor. You will find it in the options menu
To place a city you do the same thing as a fort but you click city - can't quite understand what you're missing there.
I'm pretty sure you can't change the size of the map because they are all fixed as they are part of the campaign map that you are actually editing.

the (playable) size of a map seems to be related to the number of players, atleast it is in custom battles.
