need help-game won't install

I don't know if I was suppouse to post this here, but if not I apologize.
Anyways, I just got a new computer and I tried to install the game. When I placed the cd in the CD-Rom the following message appeared:
"1607: unable to install installshield scripting runtime"

Anyone know what this is?
help would be greatly apreciated.

When and where did you buy the game?

Many of the early CDs were Corrupt, and were recalled. Perhaps, you somehow got one of these. Take it back and either exchange it for new copy, or get your money back and try a new store with a different batch of games.
