View Full Version : Surmise for Trigger Conditions on Lesser General Adoption

As a small point of interest:

During some mod-testing, I managed by chance to create the conditions where "Man of the Hour" adoptions for "Lesser Generals" started occuring after every clear-victory battle with a "captain-stack". This was repeatable until I accepted an adoption offer where upon it stopped occuring.

After some consideration and testing, I surmise that the "trigger-conditions" for Lesser General Offered For Adoption are:

Condition 1: Number of Adult Family is at 60% or less of the number of owned regions.

Condition 2: "Captain Stack" with high-experience (high silver or low gold??) wins clear-victory battle against larger force (this might not apply to an AI faction).

Note that these conditions would be consistent with other threads that mentioned lesser general adoption offers sometimes occuring after battle-loss of a family member. A slight variation of this trigger might also explain how AI factions seem to pull new "family members" out of the air in spite of your best assassins.

Any opinions or experience out there about this surmise???

I know you get adoptation offers when you are low on family members. In my modded campaign I have only 1 family member at the start and I always get an adoptation offer in the second turn. I think your 'bloodline' can never extinguish like it could in MTW (annoying that was too)

It can, if you keep losing all battles ;)
