Hi RTW players! ~D The game is almost perfect with patch v1.2 for me, but it will be even more collosal if you'd help me a bit. So I thought it would be a good idea to add Gladiator soundtrack to RTW music, but I don't know how exactly do that (my gladiator soundtrack is in wmp format about 100mb). Could you help me with some tips? I'd be most thankful  Enjoy this best strategy game! Peace (well not in a game ~:) )

In an exhausted stupor last night I vaguely remember reading something on the EB section of this forum that they were doing a completely new score for their mod. Maybe they could point you in the right direction.

I think this would require some modifications to the file responsible for music playing in the game. My best guess is you have to cut and paste the current music files to a folder to save them and then you have to put the music files you want in the directory. Then the code has to be changed to point to the new files so that different situations in the game will play different music. You have to know what you are doing in order to implement this and it can cause major problems in your game if you make a mistake.
Personally, I think it is just easier to turn the music volume low and leave Winamp running in the background with the music of your choice. But I can see how Alt-Tab can get annoying after awhile.

I just turn off the music, and play stuff straight from Windows Media Player. Media Player is probably the only good thing i know of that comes with windows.
