i've worked out a plan and have done some research for H:TW, the only thing i need now is a team that would like to help me with developing. The thing i need most are Skin and Texture modders.
H:TW
Starting date 470bc-180 ac or 500bc-180ac (in-excluding pellonesian war)
using some kind of marian reforms for each faction to unlock new units
like egypt turning into Ptolemaic Egypt and getting new units.
adding and removing factions
adding provinces
renaming original RTW units
fixing some bugs
adding new skins
adding events
making barbarian lands not a kingdom but a tribe thing, so you would play a key tribe and try to gain control of the other tribes. (this is optional)
adding new kind of missions.
In some lands other people gained cotrol. Like Phoenicia was conquered by Alexander, but Carthage took control of the african regions of Phoenicia and lived on but not as the Phoenicians but as the Carthaginians, same goes for the Succesor states and Pontus, also Parthia.
Expanding to the east and north
Giving Carthage a senate
Making the unlock of some units event-bound, like the use of imitator Legionares, like that you could only build them if you have the proper buildings and have defeated a roman legion in battle, thus capturing soldiers and weapons examin those and you have a imitator legion
