My question is how to solve the peasant portrait problem?
Normally when you mod most units that are unrelated to a faction to be trainable by them you'll have a rebel peasant portrait... very annoying.
Are there any ways to solve this? Will mercenaries affected by rebel peasant portrait situation if you mod them trainable?
Thank you.

The rebel peasant card is the default unit card when the game can't find the correct unit card. The reason it can't find the correct one for an existing unit is because it is only looking inside a faction-specific folder for it. As the card for a hastati is outside the Gaul folder the game won't find it.
To correct it, you just have to copy the unit card across from the Roman folder to the Gaul folder.
Unfortunately, these files are not normally accessible (they are contained within the .pak files) and so you have to unpack them using Vercingetorix's xpak programme to be able to access them. You can find a thread on this topic here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=40313).
Once you've done so, you should be able to find the unit card faction folders in Data\UI\UNITS\
