when you attack the roman senate, do all of the other factions attack you as well? i have so far only gotten 50 provinces to beat the game and now i am hoping to attack the senate so please reply. thank you.

Yeah, they do. The Senate outlaws you immediately and this puts you at war with the other two factions.
