Hi there!
Sorry if this is a real newbie question, but I've run aground and don't know how to get myself back out to sea.
That is to say, playing the Brutii on M/M, long campaign, vanilla, I engaged a Julii navy with a large fleet of my own just off the coast of Iberia; having sunk the Julii navy, my own navy did that little 'hop' that it does, landing squarely in the mouth of that river just a little south of Osca, and has been unable to move ever since, for ever so many turns.
The ships are all still there; when I mouse over them, the little green circle appears; when I select them, they cry "Ready to sail!" or whatever, but no green travel zone appears; and when I right-click to send them somewhere - anywhere - they say "Can't do that, Captain" or words to that effect.
I've really missed my dozen or so quinquiremes (though now I've replaced them and sent those pesky Julii to Poseidon Jones' locker :thinking2: ). They're still costing me money (I can't disband them, of course); and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them out of that river mouth.
Anyone had the same problem? Anyone got any ideas how to get them out again (either inside or outside the game, so to speak?).
Cheers!
