View Full Version : Dealing with Shinobi
While I was playing with the Uesugi's clan, I tried to kill Imagawa's Daimyo with an honour-9 ninja, the % of success was 74%. And the darnest thing happened when my most honoured assassin was caught by shinobi and killed. Doesn't the honour counts for something when it comes to dealing with a shinobi??

Maybe it was an honor9 Shinobi!

Honor counts, yes, but it seems you had spectacularly bad luck. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
Also, Border Forts are pretty darn effective in sealing the borders: I think they have a perfectly fair chance of catching *even* honor 9 Ninjas.

I've had this happen before, and it's a bummer. Of course you have to remember that during the time you're building up your honor 9 ninja, enemy shinobi are also improving (capturing other, AI controlled ninja and shinobi, for example) and so it sometimes could be a matter of that.

Use geishas. They are the best to deal with anyone you are having a problem.
Is having more than one shinobi in a province decrease the chances of enemy infiltration?

Yes. But when an enemy infiltrator is captured, only one agent's honor goes up (you can see who by checking each shinobi/ninja).
