unlocking new factions?

i'm pretty new to rtw but would like to know how, if u can,to unlock new factions,,in the campaign game.

The factions you can play (for the imperial campaign) are in a file in your R:TW directory. Go to R:TW\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign. There is a file called descr_strat.txt. At the top is a list of playable, locked, and nonplayable factions. If you want to play a particular faction, just move it to the playable block.

Most factions play with no problems, but the senate and rebels have bugs. If you play the senate, do not open the senate tab, this will cause a crash. With rebels, a crash occurs if you unload troops from a ship.

You can also unlock the locked factions by beating them in the campaign, but who has the patience for that! ~D
