hmm interesting.
Could be problems later with mad scientists though ~

~;) Cool.
My practical use for the black hole: Waste disposal, by the year 2115 there will be a blak hole in every kitchen. Throw out your trash compactor the black hole can hold infinitely more waste, and is kept in a safe metal can. If you ever wanted to get rid of it you would go through a week long ordeal as the Hazmat team prepared to take it away. Just don't do anything dangerous near it.

The trash would be destroyed and come out as thermal radiation, I don't think converting matter to energy is a good idea on anything but sub-atomic scale ...
It would also be a terrible waste of resources, everything on garbage belts now might some day be recycled, I think they are already 'mining' them for aluminium somewhere.

Newspaper headline of the near future: The end is nigh.
Then again, you prolly won't have a newspaper, because the world will have been sucked in by the world ending black hole.

I can't even be sarcastic without reality ruining my dreams of being a black hole/trash mogul.
We could use the energy to power appliances and my computer. My computer would have to suck a lot of power by then.

Now we just have to wait until someone creates a lasting black hole......
Could be a problem there...

but dont black holes expand and wen they get so big they cant be stopped.and even a small one cant be destroyed

I'm sure he has it all under control... not! Who knows what could happen? ~

by the way nobody actually knows were the waste form black holes end up so it could end up in the middle of space or on earth in billions of pieces.and did people no there are three black holes that are huge and are growing at a fast rate that will eventually suck in the universe

Yes I did know that, common knowledge littlegannon, common knowledge.
Black holes are pretty scary and I hope this scientist guy knows what he is doing..

Well the apocalypse has to happen some time, mathematical fact. We might as well make it the coolest apocalypse ever. Pull up the lawn chairs and pop corn it's apocalypse time!

Hey I am supposed to be informed, so I can get out the lawn chair and tote my computer outside, need to be able to blast my AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and such while the apocalypse rains down.

Actually the end of the universe most likely going to be "heat-death" where everything reaches thermal equilibirum a few degrees above absolute zero. So bring your electric blanket and ear muffs.

Damn, I was waiting outside an d everything.
Well when it starts to cool down we can always show the universe our nuclear arsenal.....in action! Just blowing them up in their silos at the same time should split the earth and prevent any painfully long winded freezing to death crap.
In other news: Space flight hgas been deemed impossible and any large scale exodus to a new planet has been prevented by an obscure and unrepealable law.

All our nukes combined wouldn't even be the most powerful earthquake in the last century.

By our I was refferring to all in the world, we have around 20k and the Russians have about the same number so..... Boom. Hopefully it would be enough if they were all triggered at once. Hell add all the rocket fuel too, that stuff goes up good! I saw an episode of Engineering Disasters and some of the stuff started a fire and the whole plant combined creater a 5 on the richter scale, plus nukes=BOOM!

Thats just freaky a scientist making a black hole. Who know what dangerous things could happen.
here is my question:.... Why? Why the hell create a Black Hole!? ~

Go down in history as the man who hasd the equipment to destroy the earth? ~ But there wouldn't be any history left? ~
Uesugi Kenshin

But what if he launched a tube packed with history in every available format? Include some other people's achievements to make his own seem all the better and then destroy the world. Some alien or other is bound to find it one of these days....
