Anyone here knows how to modify brigands? ~:confused:
-The units that'll come out in each province?
-Frequency?
-Strenght for each pop-up?
-Or delete their presence entirely?
Please answer the questions. :bow:

Perhaps the bottom of descr_rebel_factions.txt would help?

I agree, in descr_rebel_factions.txt, at the very bottom of the document is the entry for Brigands. To make them disappear from them game, set "Chance" to 0.

That's interesting, I set the probability to 0 in my game, and quite a few Brigand armies showed up. I will have to try some other things. It might be possible to totaly remove Brigands by either deleting all unit entries from the army list in descr_rebel_factions.txt; or by deleting the entries for brigands from descr_rebel_factions.txt and rebel_faction_descr_enums.txt.

I tried various things, and the results were these: *I also deleted map.rwm every time in case that it had any effect
When the chance for Brigands was set to zero, the were 12 armies that appeared in the first four turns
When the probability was 100, 16 armies appeared in the first four turns
When I changed the category for brigands to peasant_revolt instead of brigands there still 16 armies in four turns
When I commented out the entire entry for Brignads (using ; at the beginnning of each line) there were four armies in four turns. I also commented out the entries for Brigands and slave_uprising in rebel_faction_descr_enums.txt and rebel_faction_descr.txt
Has anyone else experimented with rebels?
