Shogun at unusual resolutions e.g. 1280×800

Hi

I've happily been playing Shogun for ages on my desktop at home but have just moved out and am looking to get a laptop – the model I am looking at has a widescreen display with a native resolution of 1280×800.

Is it possible to configure Shogun to display at 1280×800? I'd really like to use the whole screen if I'm going to get this laptop.

My laptop's 1450x1050 and I didn't have any problems with Shogun. I'm pretty sure you can put it at that resolution.

Did you have the game resolution set to 1450×1050 or did you have the resolution set to one of the presets allowed in the game (e.g. 1024×768, 1152×864, or 1280×960), with the display stretched to fit the screen?

I'd like to be able to play the game at the screen's native 1280×800 resolution, because if it's stretched from 1024×768 then the widescreen aspect ratio of the screen will make it look distorted.
