I played the prologue and conquered the gaul and greece and it gave me the option to continue or quit. So I continued thinking I would now be able to start on the 50 province campaign. I select my faction(juli) but it doesnt give me the lil arrow in the corner to start it. What am I doing wrong here?

The prologue doesnt really have much to do with the imperial campaign.

That is - you dont carry over anything from one to the other. You start the imperial campaign after the prologue exactly the same as starting it without the prologue.

Im not sure why you dont get the continue arrow, but just try starting from the imperial campaign menu instead of continuing from the prologue.

how do you mess up the prologue?
i supose you could, just like you can mess up any campaign with one stupid decision, accompanied by a bit of bad luck..
i just quit the prologue after you take the rebel settlement (Segesta)
i think it's after that because then you can start an imperial campaign!

Problem with the prologue is it doesn't have much of an trade economy, so at least in my case my treasury was constantly in the negative... I had to conquer a city just to have some money to spend...
