boromir why do I have to playoff for semi-final? It;s not my fault I made short work of one of my oppenents making the game over b4 i could get anymore kills. It should have been least losses is better.

They were never posted. I got a mail saying I beat DV etc but not in the way stated, and without the kill count.
I have also mailed spoon to see if he has the kill count on his logfiles.
It's not as if I am not trying to help.
Time has run out.

Hi boro, ur wise in your decisions once more m8. Seems u have still problems with showing respect to the wolves.

Its about time that MagyarKhan got his head out from his own arse and also stopped being paranoid.
I have not been unfair. I have given many opportunities to sort this problem out.
In my opinion it has not been sorted. Therefore As stated by Terazawa, my decision is final. I have given Spoon the opportunity to respond also, and as yet he has not done so, So I have no choice in the matter.
And by the way, this Is another reason the community sags. As soon as a decision goes against a wolf the whole seedy lot of them gang up and make it a "prejudice thing".

A tourney such as this was run along honourable lines.
For anyone such as yourself and "your Khan" to suggest that my decision is in anyway prejudiced is laughable.
I am offended and insulted by those comments.
I tell you what though I am gonna create another name - Boromir's Voice, where I can go around slagging people off, then I can post with this name apologising for my other personality and its bad mouth alongside sneering cheeky comments.

Is it too much to ask for support from wolfies during tournaments.
As the saying goes, again related to football - "no player is bigger than the club". Here I think "No clan is bigger than the game" applies. Think about it.

I agree with boro if he was gonna try and screw someone in this tourney it would probably have been me. Remember Drb had trouble with e-mails at the very beginning when trying to enlist into tourney and nothing has happened to lordted. Maybe DRB should learn how to use e-mail properly.

Look Boro the Wolves do as much for this game as anyone. Unfortunately I must say I've been a bit disappointed with their cavalier and selfish behavior here, but to be perfectly blunt-- it's their prerogative. And I can't say I'm particularly impressed with your level of self-containment.
It's just sad that things have come to this for Shogun.

Hi boromir,
I feel I should stand up and speak my word, as DRB (my little brother) is momentarily out of the country for a soccer tourney in Germany.
He played some marvelous battles in the tourney it seemed, and was extremely excited about his great results against well known players (like every 13 year old would be).
He wrote down the scores of every battle, and asked me to check them with logfiles again, so he wouldnt be out of the tourney by a stupid small mistake.
Hilariously this just happened to have taken place. Not by wrong results, but because E-mails didnt got through. I investigated the case, and it seems your email links sends email through outlook express, which (because pc's got formatted for better gameplay) didnt got installed properly by ME, as DRB is too young to understand how to modify these settings.
This brought you in problems with your scedule and planning next tourney fase, and therefore I sincerely apoligize.
But I was there when DRB also spoke to you online and asked if you got the results from a match (dont remember which).
He said he would send it again, and he retried. After that I hadnt spoken to him.
I feel very very sorry for him this has to happen this way, and Im sure he will be greatly disappointed by the way this has to be solved.
He spend many, many hours in this tourney, and was here every day to meet templarlongbow to finish his last battle to win the group. Sacrificing school results by staying here till midnight, seems to have been for nothing.
And this while both group members both said they LOST their matches against DRB.
He wasnt capable of sending E-mails because the problem that came by was unknown to him and he surely could have ever found the problem why his emails didnt got to the point of destination.
Therefore I would ask you as a human being, and good tourney host, to think about your decision to let spoon go through (although I really also would grant him a place in next round) as you knew what is the problem / was the problem, and what he did to continue to next round.
Talk about this with spoon first if you want to make a change so he wont be against your decision. If he agrees, please be generous, and accept the fact, that a 13 year old boy with great skills should continue the tourney, to keep it one which will be remembered as best tourney 2002!
I know its hard to turn back a decision, but think with an honoust heart and im sure you will make the right decision.

P.S. If decision is positive, reply so here, and ill send you an e-mail with the results and will try to find out which logfiles belong to the matches.
Please, keep your mind with the fact that the boy is only 13, and you would understand his very very dissapointed feelings when he doesnt get through.

Guess Nobody will want to organize a tourney after this. I must agree with Khan, sad, very sad, for Boromir, for the 13 year old kid and everyone involved.
This is why i'm not into MP, people forget so easily that this is only a game, supposed to be fun.
If you really want to exchange, communicate on this and try to iron things out , you don't need an audience. Audiences are always a bad thing because then everyone postures like a rooster in an henhouse and is more worried about how they *look* than solving a problem.

Confused....the players who he beat have said he beat them to the host?.....the host refuses to take the results because the e-mail with the battle kills did not arrive?
The kills are not important as the little wolf came top in the group on points without the need for kill count.....but I understand that the rules must have stated on 'recieving the e-mail will the results be collected'.
with the agreement of the 2 losing players that they were beat....rules should be put to one side and wisdom of judgement take its rightful place.
The best way for this to be resolved would be that the rules stand..but the group 'winner' steps down and lets Lethal take his place in the next round....therefore the rules have not been broken and the 'correct' players goes through...I wouldnt like to take the next round place from somebody who beat me, e-mail or not.

I think we are all agreed that tourneys(as mentioned by monsta) need to be swift.
I mailed all concerned inculding spoon for him to confirm that DRB beat him.
I set a time limit for all enquiries to be returned to me. None came back so I had to make a decision on the spot.
If SpOOn would like to mail me that he is Happy to allow DRB through then I will alter the decision.
I will stand by whatever SpOOn decides.
I dont think I can say fairer than that.

I stand by my original decision as it was made with tourney interest at heart (as Dareal points out, I DO have an honest heart and I made the right decision at the time. Until Now I had no reply from Spoon so I had no choice. As Sp00n is being very honourable, (thank you Sp00n) I will go by his wishes, as that is now the right thing to do.

BTW:
As i still remember my kills vs sp00n were:
670 or around that.
and losses around 450
vs dv i killed 720 or something and lost 380 men around that.
