Games Similar to KOTOR on the Xbox ?

Beaten KOTOR 2 and playing through the first game on my Xbox.

Was just wondering if there are any titles similar in quality and game play on the xbxox ?

I don't have an X-box, but the one game that makes me rather wish I did is Bioware's imminently forthcoming Jade Empire. It's X-box only and Bioware have a track record of producing CRPGs like kotor1 that is second to none in consistency of quality.

BTW, have you tried Vampire: Bloodlines (probably PC only)? It may be even better than kotor2, which I agree was excellent.

Not played bloodlines yet- trying to stay away from PC games as they are less socialble

Try Fable and Bard's Tale.

Fable (http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/rpg/fable/index.html?q=Fable) was over-hyped, but still a good game. You basically lead the life of a typical adventurer in a fantasy from childhood to old age. I'm eagerly awaiting its release on the PC because it will have a bunch of new content. It also has a great sense of dark humor

Bard's Tale (http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/rpg/thebardstale/index.html) isn't as good as Fable but is still a pretty decent dungeon crawler. What's cool about this game is that it makes fun of a lot of RPG cliches. Funny game through and through.
Edit: After thinking about it, The Bard's Tale is really hilarious game, I definatly recomend it if you like Diablo-style action.


These are the only two that I can think off hand as I don't really follow XBOX gaming. I'm not even sure if there are a lot of RPGS out for the XBOX.

Whoa, it's been a while since I popped in the forums. Jade Empire is looking hot. OXM gave it a 9.4 and IGN gave it a 9.9

It is coming out on the 14th. I already preordered.
