View Full Version : No Guns
Who would play in a tourney with no guns allowed, only arrows and fixed units
This of course allows different maps to be played.

If people try the new stats when they are finished you could include the gun...as they are reset to power slightly more even...and not resembling a semi automatic.
The ashi is also adjusted to act like the farmers they are.in other words...good at growing rice and not killing elite military troops.
Maybe Boro you could organise a 'new stats' tourney.this would help promote the improved system and also allow players to witness the game how it should be played.
Certainly worth thinking about monsta.
The NO Guns thing was something mentioned about 2 months ago so I thought it might be a good idea, new stats or not.
It should be fun not to hear the sound of gunpowder just whe whizz of arrows through the air.
Would be different for most people I think.

Any rules could make an interesting tourney.
The more important part is to keep it organized.

hmmm, i never thought that u need flat maps to use guns?!?!
rofl....now i undestand the probs of our community....its all about the guns.... just this unit dont allow us to play hilly maps or with some woods.... lol
koc
Dear pessimist Koc,
As ever there are people willing to join in and there are others who like to stick spokes in the wheels of progress.
I know you do not understand me and I have tried to explain in the past but i shall not bother now. Just simply do not participate Koc. Play your own little games and leave everyone else to play as they wish.
If I host such a thing, people are not forced to join. They do so of their own free will. The same free will that allows you to abstain my friend.
And I cannot play at present Koc but I do have "real" things to do instead.
Why not be positive and think to yourself 'that's good, he (me) doesnt have time to play but still wishes to support the community in anyway he can'. Rather than letting your mouth loose just for the sake of flaming.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the idea. I do not expect you to participate, therefore I dont really think your point of view is valid from this moment on.
In future I shall try to rise above personal slights at me as there is no need for it.
Boromir...
