cant play imperial campaign

when i went through the cdeive and all that to unlock the other factions i cant go back and start a new campaign. when i click a faction and hit the right button it goes right back to the menu. can someone help me out?

Too bad I can't attach a file to my post, because I have the file with all factions unlocked and with nothing else moddified.
Anyways; Have you backupped the descr_strat.txt file before moddifying?
If yes then copy this file back, not cut and paste ofcourse, and replace the following:


playable
romans_julii
romans_brutii
romans_scipii
end
unlockable
egypt
seleucid
carthage
parthia
gauls
germans
britons
greek_cities
end
nonplayable
romans_senate
macedon
pontus
armenia
dacia
scythia
