Yo, i played julius on vh/vh, and just got archer auxillia, however, they are invisible, i just see those green triangle things that tell me where they are when they are selected, but i don't see any physical presence of archers. what the?

Maybe they went for a beer and left the green arrows to mark their spot. ~D

Maybe they were playing hide and seek and left the markers to confuse you.
They succeeded in confusing you because now you're here asking for help..

Might have something to do with graphics, what type of card you running?

Have u zoomed in? If you are viewing the battle from a birdseye view, some of the units will "disappear". ~;) :bow:

Might be that your archers are made of the same mystical invisible substance that Desert Axemen's armour is made of . . .

People must be slow around here today. I would have expected at least one comment along the lines of: "What?!? You still haven't disabled the green arrows yet?!?" ~D

Could you get them to shoot, and did the arrows appear?

How do you disable the green arrows? I've searched for that for months now! Please tell me how to do it!

go to activision/RTW/preferences.txt and and then search for .....arrows and set it to off

preferences.txt at the RTW top level, i think it's DISABLE_ARROW_MARKERS.

on my old computer i ran into the same problem for several battles, not that often but sumtimes, mostly at seiges. no idea y tho unless it had sumthin to do with a graphic card. My archers also had sum of the guys turn black too, that happen to u at all?

oke, i'll help go to program files/activision/RTW/data/descr_export_unit. if you read the intro you'll know what you have to do, then search for desert axemen. and mod what you don't like
