Here is my one word:

dim OneWord as string = "This is how the economy works:

Assuming there are six resources, A, B, C, D, E, F, and that players may produce a type of good up to a fixed value (causing trade agreements to plan for the next turn), and players have a demand (possibly determined randomly through dice or such), for resources. If they cannot meet the demand, something negative happens to them, such as a loss of profit) then operations work like this:

The more of a resource a player has the better for them.
Trade agreements can be bid on be competing sellers. (In a bidding war, the player with more of a resource almost always wins, if they are even a halfwit)
There is a standardized cost to conduct the movement of trade goods: 10g up to the first ten goods shipped, 5g for each ten afterwards (this is incentive for large-scale trade to occur, buying in bulk, at a temporary loss, but long term profit, etcetera.) *Shipping cost should be based purely on the number of goods shipped, not the type.
There is no penalty for not producing a good which you can produce.
There is a set production cost for each good.

So, team 1 has 4 demand for good A per turn, and they gain 10g for each demand that they meet. Teams 2 and 3 are both trying to sell good A to team 1. Team 2 has a supply of 8, and team 3 has a supply of 6. Assume that good A costs 5g per unit to produce, so the equation for the seller to make a profit is:

T = the total gain or loss
G = the number of goods sold
P = sale price

T = PG - 10(G/10(rounded to nearest integer)) - 5G

Equation for the buyer's profit:

T = total gain or loss
G = the number of goods bought
P = the purchase price
D = the demand which is met by the purchase
I = the amount the buyer gets from reselling to the populace
L = the amount lost per unit if the player does not meet the demand
N = the amount of demand which was not met

T = ID - PG - LN

Basically, the total gain or loss for the seller is equal to the price times the number of goods sold, minus ten times one tenth of the number of goods moved (it CANNOT be simplified to -G because it rounds up to the nearest ten), minus five times the number of goods sold (the production cost. Therefore for team 2 or 3 to exactly meet the 4 demand of team 1, they would have to sell at 7.5g per good to have 0 net gain or loss. Therefore they must sell at 8g per good to turn a profit, which would be 2g. Team 1, however is making 8g on the transaction, because they gain 2g for each good that they sell to their populace. So it looks like teams 2 and 3 are on equal footing? Wrong. They can still sell the other portion of goods that they have. Team 3 has a total of six, so they need to sell six at 6 2/3 per good to make 0 profit, whereas team 2 could sell their 8 good at 6.25 for 0 profit. Players should not tell the other players what their demand, production quota, how much they have already promised to sell to others at what price, etc...

Actually, good production ability is based on the territories that a player owns? Yes? So that if China no longer owns China, and is an Australia based operation, they will no longer be producing silk!"

Seeing as it's been bumped, I think it's best if you guys use the old one-word story.
