This post is to ask if somebody has ever found a problem as mine.

In the new campaign, I get some CTD at the end of some turns. The AI makes all its movements and then the game crashes. I thought it was a problem with rebels (recruitment or something similar), but I made rebels playable and the problem persists, but now the last AI movement is not the rebels and CTD happens at the very same moment.

I also thought it could be a problem with events, as it is a smaller map, but after eliminating all the events, the problem persists.

If I restart the campaign in the last autosave, the game doesn't CTD after the same turn, but it happens in some other turn. I've been able to follow three times the same campaign and avance 5 more turns from the first CTD.

Of course, there is no error message with -show_err.
Does anybody have some similar experience and (most important) a solution?

did you make anychanges to youre export_descr_units.txt?
if you did remove any units form that file. you would need to also remove them from descr_rebel_factions.txt because the game may be trying to find units, for rebel armies, that dont exist. therefore youd get a CTD.
if you didnt then i have no idea. ~;)

Try making sure settlement culture in regions.txt and settlement founder in descr_strat.txt match. I have had the same symptoms as you described, and that was the problem.

Thanks to both of you, but blindfaithnogod was right.
I had eliminated all non-used units. The peasants had disapperared except for rebels, and I kept all the units with slave as one owner.
However, in the case of roman units, this is not true. This morning I remarked that some roman units had as owner romans julii, scipii, brutii and senate, whereas others has only roman. In that case, the roman owner also includes the rebels. As the only present faction was julii, I had left as only owner romans julii.
Thus, giving those units the slave faction as an alternative owner the campaign works smoothly and I've been able to play more than 20 turns without any problem. ~D

Thanks again.
Cheers. ~
