roman history had big gaps , one of these gaps is the period between 70 ce to 117 ce
tacitus wrote a roman history about the years 69 to 96 ce but the books about 70 to 96 are now lost and he is the only source except suetonius who wrote gossip
about the years 96 to 117 there is only one source , the historia augusta for the emperors nerva and trajan , but alas theses books are now lost
so is there is ancient books about this period that you know about ?

the historian josephus wrote a book called 'the jewish war' i believe and he was personally involved in titus flavius suppression of the jewish revolt.

ok but the revolt ended in 70 so ...
